Barrier-free university
The University of Graz supports equal accessibility for everyone, regardless of gender or physical disabilities and chronic diseases. The aim of the supporting institutions is to enable people with special needs to lead an independent life and to put them on the same level with others in all life situations.
The barrier-free campus project intends to ensure that the university grounds and buildings are accessible without having to overcome barriers.
The Integrated Studies Centre is the central information and contact point. With its services, the Centre primarily addresses people with special needs and/or chronic diseases who are already studying or planning to study at the University of Graz. Moreover, members of staff at the University find support and information for cooperation with students with special needs and/or chronic diseases.
