Prizes

Teaching prizes “Teaching: Excellent!” and “Digital Teaching: Excellent!” at the University of Graz have been created to acknowledge the excellent performance of teachers and promote their special and individual commitment. Essential criteria for the selection of candidates are above all their social competence and professionality in daily teaching as well as their excellent communication of special knowledge. Every year, a different focus is chosen for nomination.

• The prize “Teaching: Excellent!” is awarded to teachers for outstanding collaboration with their students since 2010.

• From 2015 to 2017 outstanding initiatives and projects in the field of New Media were at the core of the teaching prize “ELCH” (E-Learning Champion). In 2017/2018, the ELCH award was replaced by the teaching prize “Digital Teaching: Excellent!”
