Examinations Office for Teacher Training Programmes

Against the backdrop of changing social structures and demands made on teachers, secondary school teacher training has become one of the university’s main priorities. At the moment, the University of Graz offers secondary school teacher accreditation programmes comprising 19 different teaching subjects at four faculties. Centres for didactics for cooperation with universities of teacher education and with schools underline the extensive scope of opportunities in the frame of teacher training. On 1 October 2009, the Coordination Centre for Secondary School Teacher Accreditation was established with the aim of bundling knowledge, improving course organisation and facilitating communication. Thus creating a service point for students, teachers, didacts and other interested people.
