Welcome Center

The performance agreement of the University of Graz with the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy for the period 2016 to 2018 stipulates the establishment of a “Welcome Center” at the University as a strategic project, which is meanwhile an established part of the University of Graz.

The Welcome Center assists prospective University members with their first steps towards their stay at the University of Graz.
The aim is to help facilitate daily routines at the University for new international University members, thereby aiding the recruiting of international staff and students as well as enabling smooth integration after their arrival. As an interface between the wide range of University departments, the Welcome Center will assist in issues concerning the move to Graz such as entry and departure, accommodation and administrative affairs as well as offering staff taking part at events and german classes. The aim of the Welcome Center is to strengthen the welcoming culture at the University of Graz.
