University sports
The Sports Centre (USI) offers a multi-faceted range of sports for students, staff and graduates of the Styrian universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education. Some 300 courses with a total of 9,000 participants promote physical fitness and help to balance student and professional life. The annual Kleeblattlauf or Clover Leaf Race staged by the Sports Centre USI has become a cult event. With some 4,000 enthusiasts, the relay race with its final ceremony is the most important university sports event in Europe.
